I bought a car! It's a 1994 Mazda Familia -- burgundy and automatic. $3000. I finally have some freedom, which is really good because this morning Colin and his dad got in a fight and now we have to move out! Eeeek. At least we have transportation. I'm glad we're moving out -- I'm ready for my own place -- but I'm certainly not happy that it's happening this way. My bank account is empty, so Colin has to cover fees until I get another paycheck or two. This is awfully stressful. Colin only has another month of school and I need to study for the GRE, which I'm taking in about 6 weeks. Ugh.
I start my new job in a week and a half. I really like my current boss and co-workers. I hope I like the people at my new job just as much. At least the pay is better. My boss was sad when I gave my two weeks notice, but he was understanding about why I have to switch jobs, so it's all good.
My feet hurt terribly. I've just done day 1 of 3 days of working open till close. Standing for 9 hours is quite uncomfortable.
I need to stop whining and have some fun! Hopefully I will soon.
